The series was cancelled by ITV on June 29 2009 because it cost to much, but with a new deal between ITV, Watch, ProSebien and BBC America Primeval will have two more seasons.
The Fourth will air in a few weeks time and will be on DVD by February 11, 2011 and the fifth season does not have a confirmed date but will air between mid-late 2011.

A deal has been struck between Impossible Pictures, iTV, Watch, German broadcaster Pro7 and BBC Worldwide to make another 13 episodes which they are turning into 2 small series!! The first episode series 4 is expected to air January 2011! Is it me or is nick cutter fitt!
