A quite official rumoour has it, (Anne Rice herself has confirmed it) - that there may soon be a new movie about Lestat but which book of The Vampire Chronicles it focuses on is not yet official. So there may be a remake of or a new sequel to "Interview with thw Vampire".

∙ 12y agoInterview with the vampire was the first in the 10 books of the vampire Chronicles with the second being the vampire Lestat. after that book was turned into a movie Anne rice was not happy about the way it was made and the producers of the movie decided not to make anymore :D

∙ 14y agounfortunately, yes. It will debue in 2012, but as a true fan of Buffy, I will not be seeing it. It will have just about nothing to do with the buffyverse, and Joss Whedon is not even going to be involved in it, nor will the original actors.

∙ 14y agoI doubt they will be making one starring the original cast considering time passed them all by...all of them are old now. But I wouldn't be surprised if in the future they made a remake.

∙ 14y agoIt should have another movie. There should be an event taking place to make it so. There's 12 books and there are secrets in each book. So there SHOULD be at least a few more.

He most likely was, Joss said in onee of the commentarys that they were going for a punk rocker look for Spike... but on the show(As Spike was like a century old) Billy Idol supposedly stole his look from Spike. :D

The seedy carnival looks like just the thing to give Buffy and her best buds, Xander and Willow, a break from staking bloodsuckers. Some greasy food, a few cheap thrills -- what more could a Slayer ask for? But then Buffy senses something evil behind this carnival. Xander and Willow aren't so sure. They don't buy Buffy's notion that the carneys are somehow connected to the corpes turning up around Sunnydale. It doesn't help that her two best friends are each interested in someone at the carnival. Which puts the burden of proof on Buffy. Can she find out what's going on in time to save her friends? Or has the Slayer become the prey?

Will there be a new Buffy the vampire slayer movie?
Yes there will be. It's going to be a whole new thing with none of the original cast or characters e.g. Xander. It will just have the same name and obviously about a vampire slayer. Apparantly she won't be a teenager at high school she will be around 22. Joss Whedon won't be involved. The movie is set to come out this year or next but there hasn't even been a script, casting or anything yet.
