I think everwhere has some form of seasons. Places which experience the least change in seasons are those closest to the equator (the line running round the centre of the earth) as the sun is always closest to these areas.
Yes - if the place you are is tilted away from the sun you have winter and the place tilted towards the sun it is summer where you are. That is why not every place on Earth has the same seasons at the same time.
Seasons are caused by the tilt of the earth on its axis. When the Southern Hemisphere is facing the sun more directly, it is summer there and winter in the Northern Hemisphere. When the earth is not tilted, it is spring in one place and fall in the other. That was a question on my science test. Weird.
The Earth has 4 seasons because of its axial tilt of 23 and a half degrees to the plane of the ecliptic, which causes the northern and southern hemispheres to alternately point partially toward and away from the sun.
The earth goes around the sun, and it takes a year to do that, but the earth doesn't change it's axis. It stays tilted a bit, and rotates daily, but not around the sun in one day. So in the year that it is going around the sun, the equator is in the same place, but for 1/2 of the year the Southern Hemisphere is closer to the sun, and the northern hemisphere is further away. Then in the next 6 months it is the opposite because the earth is on the opposite side of the sun, so then the southern hemisphere is further away, and they northern is closer. So this is how the seasons change.
The tilt in the earth's axis produces the seasons. Due to the tilt, the sun's rays cover a smaller area of the Northern hemisphere in summer, making the rays more direct and hotter . They are diffused over a large area in winter making for less heat from the sun. If the earth were not tilted the sun's rays would be equally direct at all times.
There would be no seasons. Each place on Earth would have a constant climate. Temperature would change from night to day, but not as it changes between the seasons.
seasons will not occur

There wouldn't be any seasons. The climate at any place would be the same all year around.
the different seasons and the length of day and night varies from place to place
The seasons change because the earth is inclinated to the sun differently throughout the year with the suns rays sometimes more concentrated on a place and sometimes more dispersed around a place transferring different heat into the surroundings, and controlling the seasons. The seasons also depend on how the nature acts itself...
Because the Earth is tilted relative to its orbit, the noon sun appears to move higher and lower as the Earth moves around the sun. This changes the angle of the sun as it hits the Earth and is one primary reason for the seasons. As the noon sun gets higher the place the sun rise and sun set move north. This apparent movement makes the path the sun follows longer and longer through the sky. This change in the number of daylight hours is the other reason for the change in seasons.

If Earth's axis were not tilted, there would be no seasons as we know them now. The temperature and climate across the globe would be more consistent year-round, with less variation between summer and winter.

No. The Earth is on an axis. The stars do not move with us. Therefore they change places each time we change seasons. Yes we will see most of them all year. But winter and summer have a few different respectively.
The earth tilts more to one side and at night you can tell because every 3 seasons or so the constellations move to a different place.
