Yes titanic will be gone in about 5 years
D: I ANSWERED MY OWN QUESTION
because it was so far away from the surface
Yes, the Titanic is still at the bottom of the Alantic Ocean and until better, newer technology, it can not be removed because it is too fragile. The bow of the Titanic, the first part found, is separated almost 2 miles away from the bow! No human being could go down to the bottom where the Titanic is, unless in an air tight mini-submarine. It will not be disturbed and this tragedy has been grieved by many people including the survivors. R.I.P
The Carpathian was around 50 miles from the Titanic at the time of sinking.
Titanic, on her maiden voyage, was headed towards New York City but sunk 963 miles away.
Titanic had a triple-chime whistle that could be heard from as far away as 11 miles.

Denser particles in a rotating container will tend to move towards the bottom, away from the axis of rotation due to centrifugal force. This is because denser particles have more inertia and are less affected by the rotation.
Gold particles are denser than the surrounding materials commonly found in the pan, so they settle at the bottom due to gravity. As the pan is agitated, lighter materials are washed away, while the heavier gold particles remain at the bottom due to their weight. This process allows the gold to be concentrated and collected.
These particles were broken away from rocks by the action of water or wind or a combination of both. Such particles may vary in size from boulders to sand to tiny bits of clay. ... As winds or water currents slow down, rock particles settle on the land or at the bottom of rivers, lakes, and oceans.
Carpathia? 4 hours/58 miles away from the Titanic, plus, the question doesn't make any since to me. "http://wiki.answers.com/Q/On_the_titanic_how_many_hours_were_they_away_from_titanic"
