Current is directly proportional to applied voltage. Ohm's law.
load is heavier so starting torque is requiredAnswerBecause the same current is passing through both the armature and field windings, the torque is proportional to the squareof the current. Since the starting current is alway high (no back emf), the torque will be very high indeed.
The duration of Torque - film - is 1.4 hours.
Torque - film - was created on 2004-01-16.

if there are magnets on the stator and the commutator is phased properly this is known as a permanent magnet dc motor the starting torque is dependent on armature current and the strength of the magnet the speed is directly proportional to the armature voltage a shunt motor needs the field energized for starting. more field more starting torque
A transducer is an electronic device that measures something -- voltage, temperature or in this case torque. Torque is the force applied to twist something, like the twisting one does to tighten a screw, bolt or jar lid. So, a torque transducer is an electronic device that measures the amount of torque being applied to something.
Torque is a force times a distance (the distance from the rotation axis where the force is applied). The angle at which the force is applied can also play a role. It is not directly related to speed.Torque is a force times a distance (the distance from the rotation axis where the force is applied). The angle at which the force is applied can also play a role. Energy meter works on the same principle as the induction motor. An aluminium disc is placed inside a magnetic core with two limbs. One carries a voltage coil so its flux is proportional to voltage, the second carries a current coil so its flux is proportional to current. The two fluxes induce eddy currents into the disc, each of which interacts with the flux of the other to produce a torque, which accelerates the disc. This torque of course is proportional to flux × the eddy current, which equates to V × I, or power. A permanent magnet creates another eddy current resulting in a torque proportional to speed that brakes the disc, the combined result of these actions is that the speed of the disc is proportional to power, and the total number of revolutions is proportional to the energy that has passed through the meter. The disc drives a chain of gears that turn a mechanical counter, called a 'register'.
Torque and speed are inversely proportional
The base speed of a DC motor is the speed at which it operates while delivering rated torque with rated armature voltage and field current applied.
torque
bcs the torque developed in dynamometer instrument is directly proportional to the square of the current passes so thts why its scale is quadratic in nature
Sometimes, for example in a separately excited dc motor. But in a series-wound dc motor the torque is proportional to current-squared, which gives the motor a very high starting torque and this makes series motors very popular for traction.
What is the torque of a 500 Newton force applied to a 30 meters wrench?
A 'beam style' torque wrench.
