The "Wizards of Waverly Place" TV series officially ended on January 6, 2012 with Disney's airing of "Who Will Be The Family Wizard?" however Wizards of Waverly Place as a series officially ended with their airing of "The Wizards Return: Alex vs Alex" on March 15, 2013.

and the last episode on season four is probaly the last episode of wizards of Waverley place plus there's going to be a new movie of wizards of Waverley place i think its going to be wizards of Waverley place the movie 2 then no more wizards of Waverley place,sad eh i love it that's i growed,sad eh sad

Yes, Wizards of Waverly Place is coming back this year in 2013 however at this point it will not be as a television series. Wizards of Waverly Place will be having a 1-hour special event in March of 2013 on the Disney Channel.
