It depends on what you buy and where you buy the console from. PS3 is more expensive to buy, but if you play online then in the long run the Xbox will be more expensive since you have to pay 60 dollars a year to play online. The PS3 Network is free.

∙ 13y agoThey cost about the same 400 for the 320 GB PS3 + Move bundle or 400 for the 250 GB Xbox 360 with Kinect or you can get the cheap Xbox 4 GB for only $199.99 and $299 with Kinect. You can also get the 160 GB PS3 for $299 and the 320 GB PS3 for $349 or the 250 GB Xbox 360 for $299. Holiday bundles are available when not already sold out.

∙ 10y agoOnly that they are both the brand names of videogame consoles that are not even the same within the models for Playstation or Xbox. Both have multiple models that are very different and with Playstation it includes various portable as well as console models. Technically they are both names of products that have been discontinued and replaced by newer models, but the names have come to mean the console itself regardless of the accuracy. The original Xbox was a huge flop and the Original Playstation model's success continued long after the short lived Xbox production was discontinued, In Japan, the original Xbox model sales were so poor it was withdrawn from the market just 18 months after release

Sony does not cost too much with the 320 GB PS3 Model even including a Uncharted 3 game for your $299.99

i think x box 360 slim is better because it actually has a controller made for a Hand I personally have had a ps3 before and I used to play for a good 6-7 hours by the time I got of my fingers really hurt tat is not the only difference X box has better games like gears o war and halo although ps3 also have some good games like drake uncharted and god of war I still think that X-box games are better...... if you have the slim version o the x-box your not most likely to get the red ring o death my best tip for that is to anyway buy an intercooler so the system won't be heating up as much but it still doesn't mean that you can play 80 percent of the day..... even though you have to pay for x box live it's totally worth it the community is a lot bigger and Internet is faster plus you can get o. twitter and Facebook from the x box that's why I think x box is better
