Its based on a novel. But is the best movie in my opinion. The act at the river and the massacre are true. 590 people died in the massacre and 110 children and the yougnest was 20 days old and 20 women (or so) were pregnate when killed and a baby was pulled out of a womb and killed... They are animals...
RIP all those who lost their lives
Watch your Wonderments! There are several movies with quasi-religious angles that have Miracle in the title. I cannot think of one about St. Anna. There was one that did deal with San something, and it was a wine shelter or winery underground plant used to shelter war refugees. I think the film was called Secret of Santa something or San something, though , not Miracle. It may have been sponsored by the liquor interests.
