The Remarkables are a mountain range and skifield in Otago, South Island of New Zealand.
Aoraki Mt Cook is 3,754 metres (12,316 ft) high. (It lost 10m in height in a landslide in 1991.) It is situated on the South Island in the Southern Alps Mountain Range
