If you like Repo! You may also like The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
AND Phantom of the Opera, by Joel Schumacher.
Still looking though, for some other decent movies like that.

Yes, there was a real murderer from Italy who was a little bit similar to Sweeney Todd.Leonarda Cianciulli was an Italian serial killer. She made teacakes out of her victims and fed them to her guests. Similarly Sweeney Todd and his accomplice, Mrs Lovett, baked his victims into pies and fed them to customers.
Unless less you like really pale skin, Black hair with a long black streak in it and quite large feet then no
A fantastic Comedy/Horror movie that I cannot recommend enough is Sweeney Todd (2007). It has a lot of black humor, but is definately a horror movie and everyone I have spoken to about it agrees that it is a modern day masterpiece. If you would like more suggestions on horror or comedy movies, I suggest you check out imdb.com for suggestions. They even have lists about the most popular comedy and horror movies of all time.
yes, i saw it in Barnes and Noble. its a new version with Johnny Depp in it. it's only like $11.Yes! actually the Movie is based off the play, and play is based off the many versions of the book in London! The character of Sweeney Todd first appeared in something called a "penny dreadful", an old serial fiction publication. The edition he appeared in was called The String of Pearls. His next appearance was in the 1979 musical and film.
His favorite musical is Sweeney Todd and he like to watch Horror movies.

I would have to say, the Joker (sorry Sweeney!) The Joker would because HE HAS A LIKE A BAZOOKA AND LIKE A WHOLE TEAM OF VILLAIN'S! Poor Sweeney just has a razor even though its sharp, no match for the Joker! But Sweeney is smarter! He didn't get caught killing people and the Joker did!

Some do, some don't. *** I persoanlly like Johnny Depp. He has won grammies, and oscars. He is best known for his great acting in movies, such as: Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie and the chocolate factory, The secret Window, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Public Enemies, etc. I personally do. He is one of my favorite actors.
At the end Sweeney Todd is left sitting with his wife (Lucy) who turned out to have poisoned herself, but not died. He is not really paying attention to what is going on around him (He seems to be alone since Ms. Lovett died) and Toby comes out of hiding and sees the razor and cuts Sweeney Todd's throat. I am playing Toby in Sweeney Todd and I know this, I also saw the Broadway show, the movie, and the show on tour. And in all of them this is the ending. Ms. Lovett does not kill Sweeney Todd because Sweeney Todd already killed her.

Part of the movie took place in London, England. So the song refers to England.
