well it would be neji because he has the byakugan but lee could go 5 gates and destroy neji but if neji could poke him and blow his chakra points neji could win. i would believe it would be neji but this question is pretty confusing. the answer up there is correct. but later on in the series, Neji could defeat Lee. In Shippuden, Neji could kill Lee within minutes. And even later than that, Lee cannot even make contact with Neji. Neji is Jounin, and Lee is Chuunin. Neji will own Lee like a dog As kids, Neji might just get a win. In shippuden Neji would destroy lee.

can neji beat gaara probably not. Neji's close combat moves would be pretty useless and gaara could easily do sand burial. Although Neji is fast, Gaara's sand is faster. Plus if gaara let out the the Shukaku, neji would get owned big time. Neji would put up a fight though.

Why is Sasuke and naruto rivals?
Because Hinata is Neji's Cousin -and at the perimilary round at the chunin exams in naruto shonen jump, neji almost did. he went sort of easy on her but when hinata lost she had all these holes in her arms and she got knocked out and it looked like she died and she almost did. but after neji lost to naruto in the final rounds neji's uncle (hinata's dad and head of the clan) talks to him and neji trusts his uncle and hinata and the hygua clan gets closer. and neji trained with his uncle for a while until he became a jonin and he becomes friends with hinata. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ he wanted to but all the senseis jumpedso he wont kill her u can find a picture on google
