You can do this on platinum version here's how i did it...... Go to jubilife city, then go to the 3rd floor and talk to the man standing next to the blonde chick. He'll ask you 2 questions about Jubilife TV here are your answers:

Answer 1: Go to the category people then click everyone. After that click on the other space then go to the category feelings then click happy, that's your first answer then moving on to question 2.....

Answer 2: Go to the category union and click wi-fi. After that click on the other space then go to the same category union and click connection. Then he'll give you the mystery gift.

First go to the TV studio in Jubilife City. There is a reporter on the third floor. He will ask you a bunch of questions. Answer them EXACTLY like this.

First set: Everyone Happy

Second set: Wi-fi Connection

Then save your game, restart, and go to Mystery Gift. Select Recieve Gift via Wi-fi. (You need wi-fi) and you will get Oak's letter. HURRY! THIS IS LIMITED TIME! Then after you see every single Pokemon and you defeat the champion, there will be a passage you never saw in the first place. You will end up in route 224. Follow the path until you finally get to battle Shaymin. Hope I helped! (You need the letter in order for the passage to appear)
