cultural diversity in the Caribbean came about as a result of colonization around the 15th century when slaves were needed for the plantations .Various people from around the world with various norms ,values ,traditional language ,food ,cloth and religion were all mixed together and forced to exist under the same 'roof' when slavery ended some of the people returned to their native land while others stayed as a result a lot of different traditions were left in various part of the Caribbean.
