Bit I would say watch REC (they become a couple), Usagi Drop (dont become a couple but you know they like each other), or better yet Kare Kanon would be the perfect choice. I recommend reading shoujou manga that are romantic, I will list some of them: Black Bird, Shinobi Love, Deep Love: Ayu no Monogatari, Deep Love: Pao no Monogatari, Deep Love: Reina no Unmei, Deep Love: Host, Deep Love: Real, Deep Love: Virus (all the deep love series are very very sad, but have true love), Velvet Kiss, Nozoki Ana, Absolute Boyfriend (really romantic, but it is very sad at the end)
