The Secret Life of an American Teenager is a show that first aired July 2008. It's about a fifteen-year old girl Amy Juergens(Shailine Woodley), that gets pregnant. But the father is not her boyfriend Ben Boykewich(Keen Baumann); whose dad Leo Boykewich(Steve Srcirripa) is rich who owns a butcher. The father is Ricky Underwood(Daren Kagasoff). This show shows the diffuculty of teenage pregnancy. To make matters worse Amy's parents (Molly Ringwald and Mark Derwin) are getting divoriced. Amy also is dealing with her friends Lauren Treacy(Camillie Winbush) and Madison Cooperstein(Renee Olstead) spread around school that she is pregnant. But when Lauren's dad also Ricky's counsler, finds out about Amy's preganancy he forrbids Lauren from going to Amy's house.
