That's a hard question to answer. I guess it really depends on how mature she is. If she can stand other movies like Batman Begins and the Spider-Man trilogy, I think The Dark Knight should be okay for her. The Dark Knight is darker that Batman Begins, and there is a scene where a pencil is put through someone's head, but there's barely any blood shown in the entire movie. But to be the judge if she should she it, you would really have to know her. You don't have to be a boy to love Batman, I'm living proof of that. Girls would really like, too. It's just a matter of how much she can take. If she's 8 years old, I recommend she go with an adult. But don't get me wrong, it's an amazing movie.
Well, it's PG-13. How mature is your 10-year-old? With my kids I plan to explain the general plot line with them, not enough to give the story away, just so they are prepared for anything that might happen. Then talk to them about the movie afterward. Talk about the plot, the story, the characters, maybe different choices each character could have made. Basically, enough so they understand that the movie is not real, but if someone made the same choices in the real world, they would have very real and lasting consequences. Such as blowing up a hospital.
No it's too violent and the joker is a morbidly horrifying person that could do damage to a child's young mind.
No, but some parts will scare jumpy people (Lol). I advise not to take young children to see The Dark Knight though.
It depends on their age. Most parents wouldn't let 9 and younger watch it.
That would depend on the age we're talking about here. There is a lot of sexual content in the beginning of the movie, but it isn't that graphic.
it depends how old the kids are! :)
Not legally. Nor should they.
Everyone will have their own opinion of how old kids should be to watch R rated movies. In order to be admitted to theaters showing R rated movies, kids have to be 17. Parents, of course, can determine if their child can watch them at a younger age at home.
yes because it can teach kids to be like kind, good, well beheaving heroes !!!!!!
yes. it's for adults only and kids should not watch it.
No that is extremely wrong, the dark knight is very dark, it should of been rated R but they put it PG-13 so kids could see it to make more money.
For kids, Kung Fu Panda...for adults The Dark Knight.
Yes, Wayne Knight has 1 kids
Knightmare
it depends how old the kids are! :)
yes
No!
no because it can cause nightmares
Not legally. Nor should they.
Yes they should. I think if kids can be trusted not to copy the moves they see on tv it will be fine. Their parents should watch it with them. They can fast forward it at bad or scary parts.
Kids any age are aloud to watch Tv it helps develop there brain :)
