This is a matter of opinion. I believe it should, because then the common people can read the Word of God for themselves and do not have to depend on priests or ministers to tell them what it says. That makes it much easier for people to appy the Word of God to their own daily lives. In the Middle Ages, many Christians died for translating The Bible into their common language. But it was important enough to them to have personal access to God's Word, that they were willing to die for it. And this makes me think of one question: If God has sent us His Word, doesn't He want all of His children to be able to read it?
