Solve the problem for freak and max in Freak the Mighty?

In Freak The Might, Freak was very short and his insides were growing mcuh faster and larger than his outsides, and eventually, it became a huge problem and interacted with his breathing and he died in the end of the book. Freak was very intelligent, and knew all along he would have a short life, so he tried to make the best of it, he even pretended to be getting a new robot body, to help Max feel better about his growing worse condition. Freak was very into robotics and computers, his dad left him when he was born because his father didnt want a kid who had a "birth defect". However, Freak's mom, Gwen, or nicknamed, "The Fair Gwen" was very loving and nurturing. She was called the fair gwen because she was so beautiful. Max's problem was he was an LD, Learning Disabled and he wasnt abled to read or write, and didnt have much of a brain, and or friends. His father was in jail and was nicknamed Killer Kane and the kids at school made fun of him for that, chanting, "Killer Kane, Killer Kane, had a kid who got no brain." and the neighborhood adults were scared of Max because he looked exactly like his dad, he was big, tall, and scary. Although, in the book it describes Max as being nothing like his father, who killed his wife, Max's mother. Max was described as, "Having his father's looks, but his mother's heart." Max lived with his Grim and Gram, Grandfather and Grandmother, throughout his whole life. In the middle of the book, Killer Kane tricked the police into letting him on parole and Killer Kane abducted Max on Christmas Eve and hid out in an abandoned apartment. When Loretta tried to help him escape, Killer Kane got mad and started choking Loretta, when Max tried to help and screamed out, "I saw you daddy, I saw you kill Mommy" Killer Kane started choking Max, right when Max was about to lose conscieness, Freak shows up and tricks Killer Kane and squeezes vinegar, oil, and water into his eyes and Freak and Max have just enough time to escape outside where the cops eventually catch Killer Kane and lock him up once and for all. In the end, Max is left walking among the streets, thinking about Freak and he meets Loretta who gives him advice about saying life isnt all bad. Then, Max goes to his room and starts to write the empty book Freak gave him to write all their adventures in. And thats the Freak The Mighty book.
