no Misery was written in the 80s
Both the novel and movie are set in the town of Sidewinder, Colorado.
In "Misery," the main co-star alongside James Caan is Kathy Bates, who plays the character Annie Wilkes. Bates' performance earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress, highlighting her role as a devoted fan who holds Caan's character captive. The film, based on Stephen King's novel, is well-known for its intense psychological thriller elements.

No, he is not in all of his movies. Actually, he isn't in the majority of his movies. He has appeared in only 13 of the movies that are based on his stories, and Misery is not one of the 13. See the Related Link below.

"Creepshow" is a Stephen King movie that is not based on a short story or a novel. It is an anthology horror film directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King.
Sheila Graham was a British-born gossip-columnist, working out of Hollywood. There was a film based on her life (sadly, I can't remember what the film was called.) Deborah Kerr played Sheila Graham. The movie, based on her book of the same name, was called "Beloved Infidel" with Gregory Peck as F. Scott Fitzgerald. (20th Century Fox 1960)
Yes, the 2003 movie Dreamcatcher is based on the 2001 novel of the same name by Stephen King.

Technically speaking they spoofed movies based on one Stephen King novel, and two of his short stories. They Spoofed Misery, the one where Stewie played the crazy chick (Novel), The Shawshank Redemption, the prison one (Short Story called "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption"), and Stand By me (short story called "The Body"). I would recomend checking out the films and novel and short stories, both of which were in Different Seasons.
