Pickled herring (Sill) Yeasted herring (Surstömming) Palt (Potato based lump with spiced pork in it) Kåldolmar (refined turkish recepie but with other spices) Pizzasallad (Cabbage with vinagre, sugar and oregano) Falukorv (any animal you can grind down and spice to a sausage) Lapp-palt (cheapo version of palt made out of mostly wood bark for the starving people in the inlands in the 1800's.) but it cought on and is still eaten today with syrup or butter or both.

This is a northerners view of the cuisine. In the south they mostly eat food borrowed from the continent except the skånish that eat eels, geeseblood soup and other stuff.
