When did name Jehovah become Yahweh?

Just to be clear on my answer, "Jehovah" did not became "Yahweh" neither "Yahweh" became "Jehovah". "Yahweh" is a popular Hebrew transliteration of the tetragrammaton in the old testament while "Jehovah" is a popular English transliteration in the new testament. These are both the names of our Almighty God, just in different languages.

Where in the Bible is the quote yahweh first used?

God is first referred to with the Hebrew name 'Yahweh' in Genesis 2:4--'These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. In the day that the LORD [Yahweh] God made the earth and the heaven'. In English, the convention is that Yahweh is translated as 'LORD' (in small caps), and occasionally it is translated as 'GOD' or 'JEHOVAH'. In the King James Version, Yahweh is translated as 'LORD' 6,510 times, 'GOD' 4 times, and 'JEHOVAH' 4 times.

What is the difference between Judiasm and the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses?

One main difference between them is that the Jehovah's Witnesses speak and tell people that the name of god is Jehovah (or Yahweh). The Jewish people practice not pronouncing the name of the Divine God because of superstition or that the divine name is too holy to be spoken by imperfect lips. Another difference is that the Jewish people believe that Jesus is NOT the Messiah. The Jehovah's witnesses believes otherwise.
