Most dealt with lands the white man wanted and where they wanted to cage the Sioux. Among the many treaties that were made were in 1815 with the Tetons, 1851,1858,1865 and 1877. This is just a small list of dates treaties were made. There were many more. What is important to remember is that not a single treaty was ever kept by the United States government.
