He was the most influential musician in the early years of jazz in the 1920s and 1930's and died in 1971 at the age of 69. Louis Armstrong was one of the world's greatest jazz trumpeters of all time. He also did some singing like "What a Wonderful World", or "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing", or the ever-famous "Hello Dolly." In 2001, the major airport in his hometown of New Orleans was renamed Louis Armstrong International in his honor.
