Hard to say. Plastics wasn't a big thing in the early 1900, with Bakelite - the first plastic - only having been invented in 1907.

Yes - light switches were made of Bakelite. This was considered the first plastic based on a synthetic polymer which was made of phenol and formaldehyde in 1907. In additon many of the electic controls contained handles and buttons of the same materials
