Theoretically yes. String theory and M theory says that when the two universe collide together or split into two universes, that is when Big Bang occurs. However there is no evidence that Parallel universe exists.

Our current understanding of the hypothesis of the "big bang" does not give us ANY information on what came "before", or even if the word "before" has any meaning in this context. Your suggestion about a "universe-sized black hole" as a "cause" for the big bang is no more useful than "Let there be light!".
