The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake's famous galleon, was built in 1577 and took approximately one year to complete. It was launched in the same year, before embarking on its historic circumnavigation of the globe. The ship was originally constructed in Deptford, England, and was a key vessel in Drake's successful expedition.
There was no relationship going on between them but, Drake wanted to protect her and do what ever she said or wanted.
This vessel returned from her final voyage in 1580, 26th September and remained in dock at Deptford. The Armada was dated 1588
