YES OF COURSE THEY WERE! they were best friends.
There has been talk of several spin offs including a spike movie. and there may be an actual Buffy movie but it will have no involement from the original cast or any of the writers including Joss Whedon, so odds are it won't be that great
they arn't making a movie; it was rumoured that there was going to be a movie + that Megan Fox was going to play Buffy but that was never proved and no-one is making a movie. it would be crap witout Sarah-Michelle Geller anyway x :( Oh yes they are..... its set to be released in late 2011 or early 2012...go to tvguide.com and see for yourself

Although it was never released to the public, there were two main reasons for Buffy the Vampire Slayer to end at season 7. One major one was the fact that the lead actress Sarah Michelle Geller publicly announced that she wanted 'a break' from acting as Buffy, and her contract had finished at season 7. Another reason was that the shows creator Joss Weldon got overly confident. He had an ongoing argument with some of the major TV producers, and so when the contract between Buffy and the Channel that it ran with ran out after 7 years, he left it too late to update.
Willow Rosenberg has been played by at least two actresses. She did not appear in the 1992 movie created by series creator Josh Whedon, and when the movie was revamped into a series she was played in an unseen half hour TV pilot by Riff Reagan. The pilot wasn't a smash with network execs who requested Reagan be replaced. Eventually 23 year old Alyson Hannigan was cast, and she portrayed the role from 1997-2003 (the full run of the Buffy TV series). Hannigan also reprised her role in a few episodes of the Buffy spin off Angel, later cancelled after 5 seasons.
because she enjoyed acting with the cast and that she was enjoying rolling in the part Buffy thevampire slayer and that day they all couldn't stop crying so they made the most of it
The cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 2002 includes: David Boreanaz as Angel Nicholas Brendon as Xander Harris Charisma Carpenter as Cordelia Chase Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg Anthony Head as Rupert Giles Giselle Loren as Buffy Summers James Marsters as Spike Tony Menke as Brent Vladimir Tevlovski
Pretty much. They would have events at Joss Whedon's house reading scripts and hanging out and stuff.
There is talk of another Buffy the vampire slayer movie which i think is a sensational idea, after the success of Twilight shows us how todays society accepts and loves Vampires and supernatural beings. Whether or not Josh Whedon agrees to it and has some of the same cast members of Buffy is yet to be known. xx Forevercharmed.
The cast of Blade the Vampire Slayer - 2012 includes: Cort Lane Jeph Loeb Megan Thomas Bradner

Yes there will be. It's going to be a whole new thing with none of the original cast or characters e.g. Xander. It will just have the same name and obviously about a vampire slayer. Apparantly she won't be a teenager at high school she will be around 22. Joss Whedon won't be involved. The movie is set to come out this year or next but there hasn't even been a script, casting or anything yet.

As of December 2010, there is an active film project at Warner Bros studios to film a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. However, this movie would have nothing in common with the television show apart from the name and basic premise. It is effectively a remake of the original BtVS movie, which was also considered separate and unrelated to the television show by the show's staff. At this point, neither Joss Whedon (Buffy's creator, original script writer for the first movie, and executive producer/head writer for the TV show), nor any of the other writers, nor any of the cast from the television series are involved in the movie. The remake is being made by Fran Rubel Kuzui, who directed the first movie, and her husband. (Since they funded and distributed the first movie, they have ownership stake in the Buffy character, but were not actually involved with the TV show.) Their proposal to studios involved remaking the original film with a "darker" tone, to more closely match recent vampire-based stories such as Twilight, Underworld, and True Blood.
The episode you're referring to is "Tabula Rasa" from Season 6. In this episode, a spell cast by Willow causes everyone to lose their memories, leading to confusion and chaos among the characters. The episode explores themes of identity, relationships, and the consequences of magic.
