The movie you're referring to is "Clueless," directed by Amy Heckerling. It is a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel "Emma," exploring themes of romance and social dynamics in a contemporary high school setting. The film cleverly portrays the misunderstandings and challenges of young love while maintaining a lighthearted tone.
There are a few that I know of, actually. ^_^ There is the fairly old one, titled Emma. Then there is the newer one, which is generally just based loosely off the book. It is titled Clueless, and I'm personally not that fond of it. They're in the present time, so it's obviously a bit more popular than the older version of Emma.... Then there is a newer version, still titled Emma. I have yet to watch this one, but I'm sure it will be better than Clueless. Haha, I'm biased. :]
