There is a very dark side of the Titanic which never ever gets discussed. When you turn the clock back like 10 years before she makes that fatally maiden crossing there is problem on the horizon with finance, polities and technology. All three are to wrong.
Especially the finance which is in trouble before they even started to build the two ships Olympic and Titanic. You must look at Mr J P Morgan business plan were is to get him self into financial mess and put White Star and Harland and Wolff under huge pressure and impossible demands. Mr J P Morgan is the man reasonable for the birth of the Olympic & Titanic and wants the ships built ASAP which results in cutter corner in the construction of safety items. Like water tight bulk heads that are not water tight?
There are reasons why they watertight bulk have failed to keep up with technology which was there but never used due to finance and very tight delivery date to be meet.
When look into Mr J P Morgan you will realise he is far more to do with Olympic class ships and quite frankly he is one of the major player to get away with it!
I have a lot more information on the fiance's, polities and technology of the two ships. The Olympic ship plays her part into as well. Both are a finical disasters to start with, although the Olympic will recover thanks to War 1.
I hope to gain more information this week end at the National Archives at Kew Richmond London.
