I think it is 16 or 18
There is currently not a law that specifies the age a child has to be to stay home alone overnight. It is left up to the parents to decide if their child is mature enough to handle it.
at least 13 years of age well that is in Ohio
There is currently no laws outlining the minimum age a child can stay home alone overnight in Texas. It is left up to the parents to make that decision.
A child could usually stay home at the age of 7, but an ethical and responsible person wouldn't leave their child home alone before the age of 12.
It doesn't matter what age, you can't leave them alone. Might want to hire at least someone to look after them.
The state of Texas does not have a minimum age law stating when a child is old enough to be left home alone. Leaving teenagers at home alone overnight, is not recommended.

Why not ? Depends on if you can trust the teenagers to be in the house. 17 years old is an adult
12 is the normal legal age for being left alone, it is okay for a 13 year old to be alone overnight. Never mind the legalities, do you feel happy leaving him/her alone? I have 3 children (all now well over 13) and I would have left one of them, but not the other, they would have burned the house down.

Each teenager is different... They all have DIFFERENT behaviors.
They are all going through a stage in life that changes the way they think and feel.
Depends on the parents. If he is untrusworthy, then no. If the parents trust him, then yes. Legally once you turn 12 you can stay at home by yourself.
