This is a question that has many variables, the first being the child's sex, girls reach adult height sooner than boys.

A girl usually doesn't grow much in height once she has truly hit puberty (meaning mensus for 1 year) however this may be changing due to the earlier and earlier ages of mensus in girls.

Boys however don't finish growing until approx 17 which also correspends to their puberty.

But every child is different due to a number of genetic and environmental factors including diet and activity levels. Remember, early and late bloomers do exist :)

It could be at the age of 11 through 14. sorry but I found this answer lacking :)

If a 10 year old boy is 4 foot 2 inches tall how tall will he be when he is 20 years old?

It is not possible to estimate the adult height of a boy from his height at the age of 10 because children have growth spirts at different times as they age. Generally, the adult height of a boy will be twice his height at the age of 3 years. The adult height of a girl will be twice her height at the age of 2.5 years. This is always assuming that no debilitating disease or genetic condition is present to alter the situation.
