Would have to identify exactly which model Stevens rifle you have. Need ALL of the markings. And, condition is everything, so digital pictures would help. www.countrygunsmith.net
The Stevens model 52b dates to the mod-1930s. Stevens is the same company as Savage, and also sold rifles under the name Springfield (not to be confused with the Springfield Armory military rifle maker) and shotguns under the name Fox. The model 52b was also sold by Montgomery Ward under the Wards house brand "Western Field" as a model 36. To confuse matters, Wards also sold the Mossberg model 10 (very similar to the 52b) as a Western Fields model 36.
i would say a 4 gauge kit would be more then enough for it 8 gauge min...
One in good condition would be worth $250-$350 to me. I am looking for a 16 ga. double. I don't know when your question was posted, but if you still have the gun. Let me know if you want to get rid of your shotgun. I just bought a Stevens 311 in 16ga for $325. Actualy i traded a savage model 24 for it and the guy gave me $225 for the model 24.($225+$100=$325) Are these shotguns chambers 2 3/4", or are they 2 9/16" (65mm)? I have a Sears Roebuck 16ga. side-by-side for sale. You can get me at lukemack59@yahoo.com or at 615+788+5117, Luke.
i saw a model 66 single shot lever action on guns America for 285.00
The exact value of a Stevens 12 gauge model g20a is actually dependent on a couple things. Some of these things would be the age and condition.
The Stevens model 311 was discontinued in the year 1989.You would have to contact Savage/Stevens to get the actual age of your double barrel shotgun.
The slide action Model 820 was manufactured from 1949 to 1954. Stevens pump shotguns are worth around $100 in NRA Good condition. The Model #258A bolt action was made from 1937 to 1965. The Standard Catalog says $50 in NRA Good, but I doubt if it would sell quite that low.
I would start at Numrich Gun Parts Corp.
I would say it's around 75-65 used.
not much I have one in 20 gauge if you are interested, contact me on facebook
July 10, 1902 Patent application was filed on a pump action shotgun that would become the Stevens Model 520.
These where made from 1955-1971. If in 90% condition about $130.
I have a Stevens, Savage Arms Corp Model 258b, 20 gauge bolt action shotgun with a three round mag. I know it was made prior to 1968 as it has no serial numbers anywhere. I was wondering what that would be worth?
It would be a matter of opinion but I would say the Winchester Model 37.
The Model 5000 would be a Stevens and the Ranger name was sold by Montgomery Ward. This model was made c. 1923-1932.
The Stevens Model 125, a 22 caliber Bolt-Action, Single-Shot rifle was manufactured between the years of 1898 and 1912 in Westfield, Massachusetts by The Stevens Arms Co.If you Have a Stevens Model 125 with Savage also on the barrel than you have a gun manufactured by The Savage Arms Co. and it would have been made after 1920 when Savage Arms purchased Stevens Arms.I have a Stevens Savage 22 bolt action single shot 22 rifle model 125 and have yet to find the date of manufacture for it. wwworth
