From what little I understand of your question I am guessing that the theory that is no longer accepted could be the Geocentric Model of the Universe.
That is the theory that everything revovles aroung the Earth while the Earth is stationary.
Copernicus is famous as the first scientist to re-examine the theory of the planets and how they move among the stars. He produced a new theory explaining how the planets move around, published in 1543. It raised questions about the ancient theory of Ptolemy, who had said the Earth was at the centre of the universe. Copernicus realised that the motions of the planets were better explained by putting the Sun at the centre with all the planets going round it. This is known as the heliocentric hypothesis. The theory was eventually discarded in favour of Kepler's theory of 1609, but Copernicus has the credit for starting the ball rolling and encouraging people to think about the problem.
The modern approach to transgender people is to treat the problem as a biological disorder and not a mental one.
the big bang theory
because his book shunyavada is similar to theory of relativity it means that the universe is void his shunyavada is 94% like theory of relativity and that's why einstein liked ancient indian manuscripts.
The ancient city of Troy is believed to be on the site of Hissarlik, in present day Turkey. Although excavated for over 20 years by British archaeologist Frank Calvert, it was German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann who argued that Hissarlik was in fact the site of Troy, based on descriptions of the site in ancient texts and evidence of violent destruction at the site. His theory is widely held to be true by most archaeologists today.
It was called 'Geocentric.' The idea was that the Earth was the center of the universe and everything orbited around the Earth, including the Sun.
O Neugebauer was a historian of ancient mathematics and astronomy. He wrote extensively about the history of mathematics, especially in ancient civilizations such as Babylon and Egypt. Some of his notable works include "The Exact Sciences in Antiquity" and "A History of Ancient Mathematical Astronomy."
Mainly with his "Theories of Relativity". His "Special Theory" includes E=mc2 . That is the basis of nuclear fusion energy in stars. His "General Theory" gives the best theory of gravity we have at present.
the big bang theory
Do you mean that you have to come up with your own theory about some aspect of astronomy? That is wonderful! What is your thinking so far?
In ancient Greece, Aristarchus of Samos suggested it. The theory was proposed in more modern times by Copernicus.
His theory of the planets came out in 1543.
Andrey Khlopin came up with a theory about the creation of the asteroid belt. In his theory, the asteroid belt was an ancient planet with several satellites (Moons). However, since 2007 when it was proposed, it has not become a mainstream theory and many believe it was just extracted from a science fiction novel.
Albert Einstein discovered the Theory of Relativity.
The most modern theory of light is the quantum theory.
YEs, Alfred WEGners theory was accpeted until later BECause This Question IS BEing ASked to aN ELEveN yEar OLdBecaysE sHE wANTs To Know :CAN A THEORY ALREADY ACCEPTED , BE REJECTED LATER WHEN A CONTRADICTION IS FOUND?THANKSI Appreciate if you would help.ByebyeX
I am not sure in what depth you would like this answered but Copernicus was the first to show evidence that the earth orbited the sun and not vice versa which was what scientists at that time believed.
