Akane-Iro Ni Somaru Saka Comedy/School Life A short and sweet anime with likable characters and what I thought to be a good story line. Although it was completely based on romance, they did not show much progress and all the romance was squeezed in near the end. Very good over all. 7.5/10 Akikan! Comedy/School Life/Fantasy/Action Fun anime to watch. Although it did seem a little forced there were many funny moments. I wouldn't say this is very romantic. But there is a happy ending and I thought it was pretty good. 6.8/10 Asu No Yoichi! Comedy/Action This might be more of a male thing since it contains partly fighting. The characters are likable and the story line is good. Although they do not seem to get anywhere and seems to have squeezed the romance in the end.8/10 Clannad Comedy/School Life One of the best I have watched. Lots of adorable characters and good development between the characters. The gags are good and natural. Overall very good. 9.2/10 Gakuen Alice Comedy/Magic/School Life I'm not too sure this is based on romance that much. But the main character just becomes so lovable you end up watching the whole thing. The storyline is witty and reasonable. Very good to watch but not to complete romance though. 9.6/10 Itazura Na Kiss School Life/Comedy You can tell its not the most modern anime BUT this is one of the BEST BEST BEST romance animes out there. You end up loving the main character and the storyline is addicting. There is very much development: School-> Adulthood-> Marriage-> Babies xD Seriously recommended. 9.8/10 Kaichou Wa Maid-sama! School Life/Comedy Another very good anime. It's fairly new and still has a lot to go before anything steamy happens. It looks very promising so far. 9/10 Lamune School Life/Comedy This is probably the best one I watched. This is very heart warming to watch. Very very recommended. 9.9/10 Lovely Complex School Life/Comedy Love between a small guy and a big gal. I wish the characters would look a little better. I guess that makes it more realistic and fun to watch. Very nice and heart warming. 8.9/10 Zero No Tsukaima School Life/Fantasy/Magic/Comedy Very good to watch. Probably in my top 5. Watch it even if you don't like magic and combat that much. It's just there to help create a funny and good mood for the anime. 9.6/10 Vampire Knight Fantasy/School Life I was a bit confused at first but continued as I heard many good reviews on it. It was quite disappointing actually. The love doesn't really develop but more as if the story slams it into your face. Goodish overall. 6.8/10 True Tears School Life Lot of lovable characters and very very touching story. Fits very well with the title. A must watch. 9.7/10 Toradora! School Life/Comedy ITS SO GOOD (look at my score). Very good plot and mood even with only 5 main characters. Love the twist near the end and surprised at how far they go. This is truly a heart warming anime. 10/10 Special A School Life/Comedy I actually do not know completely what to say as I stopped watching it half way through. Although I can't remember why since I remember it to be a very good series. Maybe because the top student is unbelievably amazing at everything? Very good anyways. 7.6/10 Shakugan No Shana School Life/Comedy/Fantasy Very good anime with a long story although their love doesn't develop very much, due to Shana's shyness/stupidity. But you soon come to love the characters (for me... everyone except Tenma) A must watch. 9/10 Seto No Hanayome Fantasy/Action/Comedy Perhaps a little too much comedy at first... but you end up falling in love with the female main character. All the other characters are good also. Not very romantic but watch mostly for the funny plot and gags. 9.5/10 Ookami-san To Shichinin No Nakama-tachi Comedy/Action Very new. Still ongoing. Looks VERY VERY promising. Could become one of my favorite series soon. Very recommended. 9.2/10 Nagasarete Airantou Comedy/Fantasy Yes there is romance in this... But this is really just to watch to have a good laugh although romance is still a big part. 8.6/10 Nyan Koi! Cats/School Life/Comedy I think this had lots of potential but the romance was constantly avoided by the masses of cats... Still, it was very good. 9/10 Myself; Yourself School Life/Comedy Despite the title its actually quite a sad story with a very good romance all round. Recommended. 9/10
