Bella's natural ability is a mental shield. She is able to resist any mental ability used on her, and her power is suggested to be quite strong as this ability was present even when she was human.
Her other ability, which could be considered as an acquired ability, is a resistance or control over her thirst for blood. When she became a newborn, she didn't present any of a newborn's typical characteristics. It is believed that this is either a natural ability which she has always had, or that she has a high level of compassion like Carlisle, or because she had been willing and mentally prepared for becoming a vampire, and that she developed a high level of control prior to her transformation.
