Nothing boring about: Mosquito Squadron- a fast-moving war drama that does show Nazi atrocities= not in the prison camps but among the occupied territories. a gratuitous scene has an SS man emptying a machine pistol- an MP-38 with 32 rounds into a clergyman while he is celebrating mass. this is the only incident I can recall with direct- not accidental Clergy=bashing. Now some members of the audience might laugh or yell out ( Child abuser) many war films are of course, action-minded and predicated on violence. Longest Day, Patton, etc are on the offensive and move fast. I am sure there are boring war films but do not know which ones you mean.
