You could do a variation on the princess/fairy/bride costumes for a monster princess or zombie bride. If you want a cute costume you could do something like a crayola crayon, indian princess or light bulb.

The Tale of Despereaux
You must be thinking of some other book. The word Princess is never used in The Lord of the Rings.
In the book "Forged by Fire," some weaknesses in Jordan include his struggle with anger management, his difficulty in forming healthy relationships due to his traumatic childhood, and his inability to confront and deal with his emotional pain in a constructive way.
These are all part of The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread by Katr DiCamillo. The book won the Newbery Medal in 2003 and was made into a movie in 2008.
Prince William received his Mother's sapphire Engagement Ring as a keepsake of her. It was the only thing he wanted. No doubt he will give it to his own bride on some future day in memory of Princess Diana.
fire and rot was there main weaknesses
The children's book you're thinking of is "The Princess and the Pea," a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. In the story, the princess proves her royal status by feeling a small pea hidden under multiple mattresses. This story does not include a mouse princess, soup, or a spool of thread.
