retro
As in English, it is a prefix in words such as 'retrograde', 'retrospect', etc., and carries the same general meaning of backward, or behind. 'Retro' in its current sense in English of 'old-fashioned' might be rendered by 'anticuado' (antiquated) or 'fuera de moda' (out of fashion), though both of these contradict 'retro' being, in some ways, IN fashion.
