PSP UMD movies are about a lot of different things. Basically it is movies and television shows released in the United States on the Universal Media Disc (UMD) for the Playstation Portable (PSP).
The PSP Go does not have a UMD reader, you cannot play a UMD game on it.
The games will work, yes. PSP games are not region locked, but UMD movies are.
no man, i don't think so, the only way i know with which you can get your psp bricked is by downgrading it when you don't exactly know how to. but if you have a UMD that is designed to brick your psp then maybe but i dont know of any such disc atleast not a UMD game. infact all games are safe to play..just chill and have fun playing
No because the new games for it are like memory cards and the old ones are cds
The main difference is that the Psp Go and insert the regular UMD game disc meaning you have to download all your games on the your memory stick, while on the other hand a regular psp is capable of operating the UMD disc. I hope this helped.
The UMD movies for the PSP can be bought at various local retailers like Walmart and Best Buy. Online retailers like Amazon also sell the UMD movies for the PSP.
No, the PSP GO has no UMD slot.
UMD discs are the discs that a PSP uses. A UMD movie therefore is simply a movie distributed on one of these discs, for viewing on a PSP.
Yes.
No, not all UMD movies are region free but some are region free.
No, while PSP games are region free, the UMD movies are not. A UK UMD movie will not play on a US PSP.
No, the UMD movies are region-locked. You could only play a Region 1 movie UMD in the USA, for example. The games will work fine on any region though. Obviously an American PSP will not stop playing Region 1 movies if you take the console into another country.
Only UMD movies are region locked. UMD games are not region locked, so that would work fine.
PAL and NTSC usually refer to analogue television formats. Since the PSP has its own proprietary screen, PAL and NTSC in this case refers to the region the PSP comes from, which is important for the purposes of UMD movies and some online services. That means a US PSP can play a game from the UK, the video format is exactly the same. But UMD movies are region restricted so a US PSP can only play US UMD movies.
There is no such thing as a 'PSP 2000 UMD'. UMDs are UMD's, they have no PSP model-specific variants.
PSP Game UMDs are not region coded, BUT the movies are... So if anyone knows how to do this let me know.
If you mean PSP games on UMD, no, the PSP Go does not have a slot for UMD.
