What are the best Electric and Ground type Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum the can be caught BEFORE the elite four and are NON-LEGENDARY?
For Electric, I'd have to go with either Shinx/Luxio/Luxray (caught very early and evolves into its final form at level 30, but its best move Thunder Fang is relatively weak) or Rotom (Electric/Ghost with the ability Levitate, nullifying its Ground weakness, and is caught after only 2 badges; in addition, if you have the Secret Key event item, it gets a massive stat increase. However, it doesn't evolve.)
For Ground, I'd have to go with Gible/Gabite/Garchomp, due to also being a Dragon-type. It's weak to only Dragon and Ice, can be found after only 2-3 badges, and has great Attack and Speed.
