Best Answer

The first city is Paris. For the second and the third one, it depends if you count "with" or "without" suburbs.

Lyon is third if you count only town by itself, Marseille is second. If you include suburbs, Lyon goes second and Marseille goes third (bigger town but smaller suburbs than Lyon).
