Well, a few basic rules would be to always make sure your child respects you as a parent. make sure you have a clear curfew for you teenager, and mind their own personal space unless you must speak out about something. Teenagers are so confusing these days. But they hate having parents breathing down there back. Always be loving and support you children. There are some great parents out there, but often with both parents working they often spoil their children because they simply feel guilty. Children should be brought up to do chores around the house. They should learn how to cook (females/males.) In their early teens they can babysit for money, take out the garbage, mow the lawn, shovel snow, etc. Having everything handed to a child on a silver platter is not training them for the real world. They should also have some sort of faith to form their life around. It's important parents have quality time with their children rather than giving them things to show their love. Love of course is the most important thing. RULES: Chores. Homework first. In at a certain time on school nights. In at a certain time on weekends if there is nowhere the teen is specifically going (otherwise they simply hang around with gangs of kids ... good or bad.) Respecting your parents wishes even though they seem unfair. Parents don't make up the rules to make their children miserable but to protect them, show they love them and teach them to be morale and good-standing citizens when they get out into the real world. Parents have the right to tell a teen if they don't like drugs or alcohol (including cigarettes) used in THEIR home and they have a right to tell you as a minor what friends you can and cannot go out with.
because kids need to have rules so when they are younder they absorb it, and then when they are teenagers it should come natually for them to go to bed early!

When dealing with strict parents, teenagers should communicate openly and respectfully, follow rules, and try to understand their parents' perspective. It can also be helpful to find compromises and seek support from trusted adults or counselors.
Teenagers are often prone to rebelling and acting out against their parents. While this is not the case for all teenagers, some parents must face problems including their teenager drinking, ignoring curfew, and dressing inappropriately. This may lead to them imposing stricter rules and punishments, but in the worst situations, teenagers may ignore these too.
The answer is Parents of teenagers.
To limit screen time for teenagers, parents can set clear rules and boundaries, encourage alternative activities, lead by example, and use technology tools to monitor and control screen time. It's important to have open communication with teenagers and involve them in the decision-making process.
Parents can effectively instill discipline in pre-teenagers by setting clear expectations, consistently enforcing rules, providing positive reinforcement for good behavior, and using appropriate consequences for misbehavior. By establishing open communication, showing empathy, and being good role models, parents can promote positive behavior and development in their pre-teenagers.
In most places, a 16-year-old cannot legally move out of their parents' household without parental consent. They are still considered a minor and subject to the rules and regulations set by their parents or legal guardians.
All teenagers have problems with their parents, it is just a matter of degree. Some teenagers have major clashes with their parents while others just find their parents annoying. It is normal. It is exactly what teenagers are supposed to be doing. They are finding their place in the world and part of that is pushing and testing their parents. Teenagers need to test their boundaries and be rebellious as part of growing up.
Teenagers want to travel away from their parents.
