I don't know but, somebody BETTER answer this question soon, or else! >:0 :) Thanks! (not really) LOL - I guess New Zealand, like most other developed/Western countries, espouse the values of RESPECT - respect for oneself, respect for others and respect for property etc. There is no one document that defines our values. We are a country of two cultures (actually many cultures, but I refer to white European and Maori) and as such we have to live within each other's cultural context. We respect the rights of each other to live as one (difficult to fully define) and to still enjoy full ability to openly and safely practice our cultures and languages. I hope that this goes a little way to understanding our 'values'.

As a Maori my values are to build a quality life for my family, provide financial stability fort children, break stereotypes, live in a clean home, men treat their wives like princesses, respect your peers, don't judge, play sports and be happy, culture wise we are a broken race and all we can do is try and rebuild our lives, embrace our culture being be proud of where we come from and to live life to the fullest
