What danger does society face depending on computer screens rather than face to face conduct for communication?
They can't listen to music, hear what there loved ones have to say, they can't walk around with the same assurence as hearing people. ----First of all, don't listen to this person. That's not an inequality they face. That is just pointing out what they can't do, and the things listed aren't even true. Yeah they can't listen to music, but they don't feel left out because of it, because they have never heard music so they don't know what they're missing. Deaf people learn to read lips, so OBVIOUSLY they can see what their loved ones have to say. What the f can't they walk around with assurance? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The inequalities in which I think you are referring to are inequalities in education and possibly the workforce. I am actually writing a paper on this right now for my sociology class about inequalities. There are acts that protect deaf individuals from being denied work because of they are hard of hearing.
Face covering for Muslim women is not compulsory per Islam religion.
Answer 1That's like saying why do Christians wear their cross round their neck in western society, it' s called RELIGION!Answer 2Covering up a person's face is a much more substantive religious act than wearing a gold cross and therefore requires a much stronger explanation. There are certainly Muslim women in western society who wear the niqab (a full-face veil) because they believe that it is the righteous thing to do, but this is not true in all cases. Many European Muslim women come from strict households where it is not considered a choice as to whether it should be worn or not and their husbands and fathers demand that they wear it. Some Muslim-majority neighborhoods in Europe intimidate and threaten non-covered women, which leads to some women covering themselves. The bottom of line is that some women in the west wear the niqab because they want to and others because they are afraid of repercussions if they do not.
