Light is "pursued" by many people throughout the series. First of all, he is pursued as the criminal Kira by the great Detective L (whose real name is L Lawliet). After L is killed, Light is pursued by his successors, Near (Nate River) and Mello (Mihael Keehl).
Among those who assisted his main pursuers in pursuing him are, under L's command, the FBI agent Raye Penber and his fellow agents, Raye's wife Naomi Misora, the NPA (which originally consisted of a large task force that was reduced to the following members: Shoichiro Yagami, Kanzo Mogi, Hirokazu Ukita (deceased), Shuichi Aizawa, Hideki Ide and Touta Matsuda), L's caretaker Watari and Light himself. Also assisting in the investigation were Wedy (Mary Kenwood/Merrie Kendwood) and Aiber (Thierry Morello, also worked under the alias Eraldo Coil).
Behind Near was the Special Provision for Kira (SPK) which consisted of elite Anti-Kira CIA and FBI agents. The group had many members initially but was reduced to the following three: Halle Lidner (Halle Bullook), Anthony Rester (Anthony Carter) and Stephen Gevanni (Stephen Loud).
Other SPK members included:
In addition to these characters, the Rewrite 2 special depicts a higher SPK body count, with agents named Adolf Tucker, John Skyner, Daril Mocry and Kurt McBride being among the dead.
Working Behind Mello was his fellow orphan and 3rd successor to L, Matt (Mail Jeevas) and the mafia, which included the following notable individuals: Rod Ross (Dwhite Gordon/Godon), Jack Neylon (Kal Snydar), Zakk Irius, Glen Humphreys (known as Gurren Hangfreeze in the Japanese version), Rashual Bid (known as Rushuall Bid in the Japanese version), Miller, Jose, Roy and Skyer. Additionaly, Ill Ratt who is listed above was actually a mole for the mafia.
In another sense, Light's affection was pursued by several girls throughout the series and Ryuk often refers to Light being "popular". Among these are most notably Misa Amane and Kiyomi Takada.
to be awnest he rote thousands maybe more names in the note, and i would look it up but i cant reed jappenies
episode 7 or 8 im pretty sure
Death Note. The Death Note manga is better then the anime.
The real names of L, Mello, and Near are as follows:L --> L LawlietMello --> Mihael KeehlNear --> Nate River
There is no real Death Note as far as we know. The Death Note series is a work of fiction. A number of replicas of the Death Note are available from various Cosplay suppliers, however these are purely decorative. Some people have created replicas of Death Notes and written names in them (of course those whose names were written didn't die). In some cases, these Notes have been taken for hit-lists, and in some cases, Death Note has even been banned as a result. There are no supernatural note books that can be used to kill people as far as we know. There is always the very tiny possibility that this may change, but for the time being, it should be assumed that there is no such thing in reality.-------Thank GOODNESS, no.Though many people may wish they were real, the Death Note does not exist.Lots of Death Notes are made though, but they don't really work.Glad I could help.-B.
