No. There is a court process you can go through to allow you to legally move out before the age of 18, but really at seventeen and a half unless your life is literally in danger, you're probably better off just waiting the six months.

Legally in the state of South Carolina a child is considered a adult when they turn 16. Though living on one's own is difficult so plan ahead and save money prior to moving out. Also understand many landlords will not rent to someone so young.
Home Alone?
Home has a couple different meanings. Home is about a typical teens relationship with their parents. The teens can't figure out why their parents are always yelling at them when they do something wrong, yet they don't seem notice when they do something good in life. Home is about teens believing that their house is not a home, and they're better off without their parents in their lives. Home can also be related in a relationship that has gone wrong, and the person believes that they're better off alone and without the person who is in the relationship with them. Simply, it's about about child abuse at home that makes that child want to leave and never come back.
Good question. Some parents believe they failed as parents to raise their children "properly" and believe they're better off alone.
If there is still a mortgage on the home then the deeds will be with the mortgage provider and they will not allow you to change the deeds without paying off the mortgage first.

If you signed a mortgage, your name won't come off until the mortgage is paid off.
Your solicitor can negotiate with the lender for you but the mortgage is owned by the lender. You cannot take your wife's name off the obligation if she signed the mortgage. You would need to refinance in your own name and pay off that mortgage. You need to discuss the situation with your bank. If you want the mortgage in your name alone the property must also be in your name alone.Your solicitor can negotiate with the lender for you but the mortgage is owned by the lender.
