There is only one christian god, and he is nothing like a freaky animal-man abomination. I would say there were no similarities apart from in both religions A god created the world.

Both religions have a very broad spectrum of variety in beliefs, so it is hard to narrow similarities because most teachings are not all-encompassing to both faiths. The dharma for Hindu's is the natural or eternal law of things, which includes doing the right things basically. For many Hindu's this includes being non violent and showing compassion. This is very much in harmony with what Jesus taught.

Also, most Hindu's believe the dharma includes thing like honesty, modesty, humility, being just, actively helping others, a moral code, and generally being ethical and tolerant without passing judgment. These are also teachings closely related to the words of Jesus and his apostles.

Both religions also have those who say they follow it, but contradict that claim by their actions. This is why Gandhi said: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians" because he loved the teachings of Jesus, but scene that they were not being followed by most people claiming to be Christian. Hindu's also have the same problem with individuals who contradict their faith by their actions.

As far as worship similarities, both religions teach that following the prescribed law, whether Hindu's dharma of the Christian laws regarding love both indicate that the best form of worship is living your life in accordance with the laws.
