Apart from the power train there is almost no difference whatsoever. They all have a frame or chassis, 4 wheels, suspension and other running gear, there might be small differences to accommodate the extra power source and supply (i.e. batteries, fuel tank, motors, etc.) but nothing significant. Hybrid cars are an engineering exercise on packaging, it is difficult to fit 2 sufficiently powerful engines in a car and their fuel supplies without making the car drasticlly bigger and heavier than a comparable single power source car.
Both use internal combustion engines that use gasoline. Both use a transmission to maximize ratio of rpm and speed. Both are equipped with internal climate control mechanisms.

Hybrids and gas powered cars use the same fuel and get roughly the same mileage on the highway.

They have similar life spans and handle in a similar manner.

They have similar pickup and performance with hybrids being slightly slower and lower (but still similar)

The conventional cars look somewhat more stylish, but they are similar.

They both typically have four wheels that wear roughly the same.

they both contain internal combustion engines and run of petrol(gasoline) a hybrid however also uses an electric motor and battery that receives charge from braking. both are used for additional power. it is important to note that unless driven in a very specific way hybrid cars are only very slightly more fuel efficient than average cars and actually less so when compared to super high economy cars such as the VW blue motion. when you factor in the disposal of batteries from hybrids that are actually just as bad as regular ones. its all a big fallacy.

hybrid and gas cars both use gasoline to fuel its drive. However hybrid uses the gasoline more efficiently by converting braking energy to electric energy.

electric cars run on electricity and you know gas for gasoline. electric cars don't pollute the environment.

What is a hybrid powered by?

Normally gasoline, although you could have one powered with diesel.

What is the main difference between gasoline-power and hybrid cars?

The main difference is that hybrid cars are run by electric motors and gasoline power cars by petroleum powered engines. Both autos are gas powered. The difference comes in the fact that hybrids charge a large battery with the gas powered engine.

What is the means of hybrid cars?

So-called "hybrid" cars can be powered by more than one type of fuel. i.e. gasoline/electric - gasoline/diesel - etc. So-called "hybrid" cars can be powered by more than one type of fuel. i.e. gasoline/electric - gasoline/diesel - etc.

Can hybrid cars go as fast as gasoline powered cars?

From my research and knowledge, a Hybrid can go faster than the speed limit. Now, if you really want to reach speeds comparable to gasoline powered cars, you won't be able to in a Hybrid.

Can synthetic oil be used in a hybrid car?

As long as the synthetic oil is of the correct viscosity for the engine, it can be used in a hybrid car. Hybrid cars have two engines - the gasoline powered one and the electric one. The gasoline powered pretty much like any other gasoline powered 4-stroke engine and uses the same kind of lubricants.

What is the difference between between hybrid-powered and none hybrid?

Hybrid powered is when a car and a monkey really like each other. A non hybrid powered car is one that runs on cocaine

What is the main difference between gasoline-powered and electric hybrid car?

Hi, Hybrid cars are most commonly known as Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs). They include a combination of an internal combustion engine or one or more electric motors. They use both gasoline and electric motors.

Overall which trucks are most fuel efficient, hybrid or conventional?

Hybrid trucks are definitely more fuel efficient than conventional gasoline powered trucks. Hybrid model trucks generally have up to 25% better fuel economy than their gasoline alternatives.

What is the difference between hybrid and regular cars?

A regular car is a car than rans on gasoline. But a hybrid car is a car that rans on gasoline and battery.
