If this is for the study island question which states "Suppose that there's a river which begins in Canada and flows through the United States before finally reaching the ocean. Which of the following activities by Canada would most likely cause problems for the United States?" then the answer is "constructing a dam to generate electricity."
We do not yet have one. If we did it would likely be the Apple, or Rhubarb or Blueberry. Apples do not grow in most of Canada so I would not vote for them.
cold and dry
To practice law you must be a member of the bar. There is not likely to be a direct relationship between the laws of Canada and Venezuela, so taking the bar exam in Canada would require a lot of study.
Fridges which would have a pilot light would have been absorption-cycle or ammonia-cycle units, usually made for areas where there was no electricity. It would be likely they would have a pilot light.
Permafrost would be found in the tundra.
Possibly Yellowstone or around mountain terrain areas in us or Canada, also i think there are some in the area of Niagara falls and the northen parts of canda around the Hudson bay
Only Antarctica or the tundra would have permafrost.
yes
Permafrost is in the Arctic and subarctic. There is a Permafrost Scientific Research Station located at Skovorodino in Eastern Siberia on the Trans-Siberian Train line.
-Permafrost
It is not so much that permafrost is good, as losing permafrost is bad. Permafrost keeps gases like carbon dioxide trapped within its frozen depths; when permafrost thaws, that gas is released, exacerbating global warming. Further, permafrost develops its own ecosystem which is destroyed when the permafrost is destroyed through thawing. The loss of all permafrost would mean the extinction of a lot of species.

Reptile
It is the feeze/thaw cycle that makes frost wedging really effective as an erosive force. Desert areas that are warm during the day and freezing at night experience more wedging than permafrost areas.
If you're referring to Canada, the answer would be likely Alberta.
Permafrost acts as a natural freezer, storing vast amounts of carbon that would otherwise be released as greenhouse gases if the permafrost thaws. It also provides a stable foundation for infrastructure in cold regions and supports unique ecosystems adapted to cold conditions. However, due to climate change, as permafrost thaws, it can release greenhouse gases, destabilize landscapes, and impact the plants and animals that rely on permafrost ecosystems.
