The debate about slavery was settled a long time ago, but if we were to reconsider the issue today, I would agree with abolitionists that to treat people as slaves merely because they have a different skin color than you do is a very extreme injustice; all people deserve to have basic human rights, and to be respected as human beings. Slavery is based on a "might makes right" form of morality, by which any person could enslave any other person who is weaker than he is, as long as the slave master has greater capacity for violence than the slave, but then no one is safe, if that is the morality upon which we operate, because there could always be someone stronger or more violent than you, and you too could be enslaved.
Abolitionists wanted to end Slavery
Just the opposite, abolitionists violently opposed slavery.

Some of the arguments that pro slavery southerners used were that abolitionists only wanted to free enslaved workers so that they could work in northern factories, where they would get paid low wages, would have to pay for food and shelter, and where it was dangerous.
I'm partial to apple, myself. But I've heard very convincing arguments in favor of blueberry.

There are many varying opinions on this. Personally I believe there are many convincing arguments against suicide. I am not religious so i will leave those arguments for someone else. The most convincing argument I can think of is that when things are bad or when life is bad they/it almost always get better. When someone is depressed they have trouble realizing that and feel it will never get better. There are certain cases, most of them with terminal illness or with someone who has permanently lost control or function of their body that make this argument harder to argue.

Each function in Excel that has arguments will differ in terms of what arguments are needed. The help for a particular function will indicate what arguments may be needed. Some functions can be used in different ways and may not always need all arguments.
